  2. Establishing support and disseminate authoritative statewide data sets
  3. Supporting geographic data needs of emergency management responders
  4. Monitoring trends in geographic information technology
  5. Supporting public access to state geographic data and resources

Map Service Center

TNRIS archives, maintains, and distributes the largest collection of current and historical spatial geographic data sets for the State of Texas. The collection of maps, photos, documents and other spatial datasets have been contributed from multiple sources.
